Event Branding & Identity
GMB is an annual event and before the year 2016, that previously, had no consistent logo or branding. As the newly appointed Director of Publicity for the event in 2016, one of the primary objectives was to have a core identity and logo that would allow future organising committees to build upon in terms of awareness. It was important to establish a sense of consistency throughout the years despite the fact that there is a new theme and committee every year. We wanted something classy, simple, yet unique to GMB and opted for a black and white logo that could be easily customised according different
themes. Since 2016, GMB has been consistently reusing the same core identity.
